About Us

BoardHouse was founded out of a love for wood and a passion for excellence. The company's concept took root over three decades ago when a team of Los Angeles based finish carpenters had trouble tying together various wooden elements around the home. The hardwood flooring, stairs, panneling and beams were all manufactured by different parties and lacked a cohesive asthetic. Since then, BoardHouse has been on the mission to offer a completely integrated solution: a full suite of wood products sourced, manufactured, finished and installed under one roof. This vision has led us to work with architects, interior designers, builders and homeowners on some of the most prestigious projects around the globe. Every partnership is a testament to the custody and care we dedicate to our materials from the sawmill in France to your home.

By fostering partnerships built on shared values and high expectations, we ensure every project reflects exceptional craftsmanship. We strive to help our client's design goals become a reality, and love to push the boundaries of what is possible. In 2010, BoardHouse was formalized with the vision of being a vertically integrated manufacturer for wooden architectural elements.

Our Legacy

Estb 1995

BoardHouse is a Los Angeles-based, family-owned wood flooring manufacturer and installer. The company got its beggingings as Dutko Hardwood Flooring in 1995, and quickly grew into a multi-crew carpentry and wood flooring installation business. Interior design styles changed at the turn of the century, and we were quick to fill the gap in the market of single-sourced and finshed wood products. We began importing French Oak, and have since have been idustry leaders in long and wide flooring manufacturing. In 2010, BoardHouse was formalized with the vision of providing high-end custom wood products.
