Modern house with stone exterior, large glass windows, landscaped front yard with bushes and trees, cobblestone driveway, and stairs leading to the entrance

nashville acreage

In the hills outside of Nashville, this estate sits on a 500 acre plot of land. Pulling inspiration from light ash-grey bark of the surrounding trees, the wood finishes in this space were designed to mirror the natural landscape. A custom smoky finish was chosen, with the intention of bringing muted warmth and an organic feel to the home.

The Project

The planks are 7" wide in a light rustic grade creating a perfect landscape for the brass details to pop. When you enter the residence, you are greeted with tudor arches and a patterned floor that mirrors the form of the home.

The walls, ceilings and stairs were cladded in the same material, allowing the design to flow seamlessly from the floor to the top of the vaulted ceilings.
